Late Bookings
Bookings taken within 28 days of departure maybe on a request basis (where
we must contact the resort to check availability). We require full pre-payment
in order to request your chosen holiday. If in the unlikely event we are
unable to provide you with your chosen holiday or a suitable alternative,
all monies will be refunded in full.
Not Included in the Cost
The price panels for each destination provide details of price inclusions.
If any meals are included
in the cost of your holiday these will be indicated in the price panels.
Items not included are
travel insurance, visa costs, tips, items of a personal nature, park
and port fees where applicable
and local departure taxes. Hotels sometimes charge locally for use of
facilities such as tennis
courts and hire of sports equipment etc. Occasionally, for technical
or other reasons a particular
facility may not be available during your stay. If we are aware of this
we will inform you prior to
departure. If a specific facility or service is essential for your enjoyment
of your holiday, please
tell us when you make your reservation and we will inform the hotel accordingly.
Health Requirements
Vaccination and health requirements vary from time to time and from
country to country. Your own
G.P. will be able to provide up to date information and arrange for relevant
protection. If you
plan to dive during your holiday, it is your responsibility to ensure
you are sufficiently fit for the
programme which you plan to undertake.
Visas and Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure your passport and visa documentation
is in order. All clients
must be in possession of a full passport with at least six months remaining
validity at the time
of travel. Nationals of other countries should contact the respective
consulates of the countries
to be visited for the most up to date advice. Please inform us if you
have any doubt about your
documentation. NOTE: For Egypt please note that South African Passport
holders require visas.
Baggage Allowances
The baggage allowance on all international flights is 20 kg per person in
checked baggage and 1 item of hand luggage not exceeding 5 kg in the standard
cabin. From time to time airlines will give extra allowance for dive equipment.
Flight Details
Flight details are based on information available when
the website was created. Details of times,
routes and airlines used are liable to change. Current flight details
are available on request.
Confirmed details will be provided with your final documentation and
air tickets about three weeks
prior to departure.
UK Airport Hotels and Parking
Special rates are available for all clients for car
parking and hotel accommodation
at all airports featured in our programme. Discounts are also available
for journeys to your
airport by rail. Additional savings are available when you combine a
hotel stay with parking or rail

Dive Packages
Dive packages are for qualified divers only. Please ensure that you take
your log book and dive card
with you to all destinations. If you have not dived within a specified
period of time check out dives
will be carried out by the centres and are usually paid for locally.
Dive packages include weights,
tanks & air only. Hire of other equipment will be charged for locally.
All prices quoted are for prebooking
with Explorers in the UK only before travel.
Diving Safety
Safety guidelines exist to ensure enjoyment is relatively hazard free
and providing common sense
prevails the risk is minimal. You should not dive 24 hours prior to flying,
and should remain at a
shallow depth on the last dive day. Most dive centres recommend that
you dive no deeper than
30 metres. If you go beyond the specified limits of the dive centre,
resort limitations or break the
given stipulations of your insurance policy, this will be entirely at
your own risk. Please ensure for
your own safety that you follow the guidelines for depth laid down by
BSAC, PADI or SSI.
